Tilda mit Kerze / Tilda with Candle

Ich mag dieses Motiv sehr, weil es auch so vielseitig einsetzbar ist.
Und diese süße Tilda kommt so lieb daher mit ihren Locken und der kleinen Kerze.

Erinnert mich an mich, als ich jünger war. Die Locken sind geblieben, nur das Blond nicht. :-)
Bei Stempelträume geht es diese Woche um die erste Kerze im Advent.
Und bei The Pink Elephant die Challenge ist  "color me wonderful", also die liebste Colorations-Methode zu benutzen. Ich coloriere immer mit Polychromos.
I really like this image, since it´s so versatile.
This sweet Tilda is making her way so lovely with her curls and the little candle.
Reminds me of myself, when I was younger. The curls stayed, only the blond is gone. :-)
At the Stempelträume blog it´s about the first candle in advent this week.
And at The Pink Elephant the challenge say "color me wonderful", which means to use your favourite color medium. I always color with Polychromos.

Den Spruch habe ich, passend dazu, am PC ausgedruckt.

I printed the sentiment on my pc. It´s matching the image and says

"If you think, there is no way out,

a little light will come from somewhere."

Den Haarreif der Tilda habe ich mit Stickles "Star Dust" beglitzert und die Kerzen mit Spica Glitter Stiften.
Deshalb passt die Karte zur Challenge bei Stamp Something.
Und zur Challenge bei A Spoon Full of Sugar, denn dort sollen untraditionelle Weihnachtsfarben verwendet werden.
The headband of Tilda got Stickle "Star Dust" on it and the candles Spica Glitter pens.
This way the Card fits the challenge at Stamp Something.
And the Challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar, since you should not use traditional christmas colors.

Träum was Süßes :-) / Sweet dreams :-)

Diese Karte hab ich für meine Omi gemacht. Sie wohnt weit weg und deshalb vermisse ich sie sehr und muss ihr ab und zu mal eine Karte schicken, auch wenn wir uns regelmäßig per Email auf dem laufenden halten.
Mit ihren fast 80 Jahren ist sie da richtig fit und ich finde das toll!! :-)
Das Motiv passte perfekt, denn ich habe ihr auch eine Schachtel Pralinen mitgeschickt und ihr damit eine frohe Adventszeit und ein schönes Weihnachtsfest gewünscht.

I made this card for my grandmother. She lives far away and I miss her a lot. For that reason I need to send her a card sometimes, even though we are communicating via e-mail. She is almost 80 years old, so I think it´s amazing she does that. :-)
The image fits perfectly the chocolates I sent to her, wishing her a nice Advent time and a Merry Christmas.

 Ich habe zum ersten Mal "Paper Piecing" angewendet und es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Den Schwanz vom Mäuschen hab ich ausgeschnitten und über den Rand der Pralinenschachtel geklebt.

 I used "Paper Piecing" for the first time and had a lot of  fun. The little mouse-tail I cut out and glued it over the edge of the candy-box.

Die rote Schleife und auch das Anhängerchen sind nach dieser Methode gearbeitet.

Dabei habe ich unbemerkt den Schriftzug "Greeting" vom Design-Papier genau im Anhängerchen platziert. Sieht doch aus wie gewollt ;-).
I used the same method in the red bow and the little tag. When stamping the tag I accidently put the word "greeting", which was on the design-paper, in it. Doesn´t it look like it´s supposed to be there? ;-)

Ich habe wieder alle Kanten mit einem braunen Chalk-Stempelkissen gewischt um den "alten Look" zu erhalten und die Pralinenschachtel, Schleife und Tag noch mit einem braunen Stift bearbeitet.

I whipped the edges and with brown chalk again to get the "old look" and even treated the box, bow and tag like this with a brown pen.

 

Der Schriftzug Peace ist auch gestempelt und hier sieht man, dass ich diese kleinen Beadcaps mit einem Perlenpen aufgeklebt habe. Die Idee stammt aber nicht von mir.

I stamped the sentiment peace and here you can see the beadcaps are glued down with liquid pearls.
I don´t own this idea.

Das Wort Joy ist mit dunklem Braun gestempelt damit es sich richtig gegen das Hintergrundpapier abhebt.
Dann habe ich die Weihnachtskugel extra noch mit 3D-Pads aufgeklebt.

For the word "Joy" I used a dark brown, because I wanted it to be seen clearly  against the background. And I glued down the bauble with 3D-pads.

Für jemanden der vom Schnupfen geplagt wird, ist das genau das richtige Geschenk. :-)
Leider musste ich zum Verschenken den kleinen Perlendraht weglassen, da er immer abgefallen ist.
Aber der Empfägerin hat sie gefallen und das ist die Hauptsache :-).
Der Abdruck war ein Geschenk, aber dieses Motiv steht definitiv auf meiner Wunschliste.

This is the perfect little present for somebody with a cold / the flu.
Unfortunately the pearls kept falling off, so I had to give the box away without them.
But the woman who received it, liked it, thats most important. :-)

The stampprint was a gift, but this image is definately on my wish-list.

Hab leider vergessen noch ein Foto zu machen.

"Süße" Geburtstags-Karte / Sweet birthday card

Heute hab ich mal eine Karte mit süßem Inhalt zum Zeigen, gemacht nach dem Prinzip der Teelichterkarte.
Die Vorliebe der Empfängerin für die "Schokolade mit der Kirsche" ;-) bot sich da geradezu an.
Coloriert hab ich mit Polychromos, was aber auf dem Papier gar nicht gut ging.
Ich hab zu spät geschaltet, dass es ja viel zu rau ist.
Den Schlüssel und die Schuhbommeln und Knöpfe hab ich mit Diamond Glaze betont.

Today I am showing you a card with a sweet content. I made it like a teecandle card.

The woman, who recived it likes the certain "chocolate with the cherrys" inside. ;-)

Just perfect for this purpose.
I colored with Polychromos, but it didn´t work so well on the paper.

I realized to late, the paper was so rough.
The key, the bobble and the buttons are highlighted with Diamond Glaze.

Sweet whishes

Heute hab ich diese Karte gemacht und wieder einmal festgestellt, wie gerne ich mit dem schönen Designpapier von Basic Grey bastel. Außerdem fällt es mir momentan leichter, als Karten mit selbstgemachten Hintergründen.
Die Gorjuss-Girls mag ich besonders, da sie schnell und leicht zu colorieren sind, dazu noch schick aussehen und wunderbar auf A6-Karten passen. Daneben bleibt dann sogar noch Platz für ein paar Verzierungen. :)
Ich hab die Papiere wieder mit Chalk am Rand gewischt, um sie älter aussehen zu lassen.
Der Sketch stammt mal wieder von Karin aus der SOL-Gruppe. Schaut auf ihrem Blog vorbei, denn es gibt die Anleitungen nun auch per Mail.

I made this card today. It´s always so much fun to play with the beautiful Basic Grey Design Papers. And at the moment it´s easier for me, instead of making cards with selfmade backgrounds.
I love the Gorjuss-Girls, since they are fast and easy to color, look fancy and fit on regular sized cards. There is even room for emellishments :-). I chalked the edges of the papers again, to make them look old.
Again creative Karin from the SOL-group provided the sketch. Take a look at her blog, because now you can even get the instructions by mail.
